I feel that perhaps Shaw and Goosen are looking for a way to get their fighters out as the Dirrell-Ward fight, from a career perspective, is coming too soon. I think that they might be trying to negotiate out of that hefty fine Showtime is sure to slap them with, if they abandon the tournament.
The promotors case might be that we are now down to 4 fighters and the value of the supersix has now decreased. If Kessler somehow decides to keep the WBC belt so that Froch-AA wont fight for it thereby not creating a unification in the final, this tournament is officially dead.Comment

Damn Allan Green just fell completely apart. Listening to Tarver talk **** he had the same performance against BHOP and blamed it on Rocky. Still growing up around the corner from Green I'm embarrassed for him and Tulsa!!Comment

In one of the first episodes he showed a red one. Saurland would give him the keys to it if he beat Taylor.
So after the fight he took it for a drive on the Berlin autobahn and immidiately got a speeding ticket and a temporary revocation of his license (I think). LMAO.Comment

Agreed its starting to lose its gloss but if they can sort out the Ward Dirrell situation and go ahead with Froch Abraham as 2 semi finals then you still got 2 great match ups and still alotta buzz around the tourney. With all the fight cancellations and the 2 fighters pulling out i feel the tourament has been a sucess and hope that Showtime or hbo can pull something like this off for other divisionsI found this episode to be the weakest so far.
Of course it's still very interesting to follow the fighters after the fight and on home ground, but the major failure of this show was it's lack of looking ahead. Why nothing about the controversy on the AA-Froch venue? And why nothing of substance of Ward-Dirrell? I'd really like there to be some official news on those fights as one got that sneaky feeling that the tournament is falling apart.Comment
