Mayorga skipped Jr Middleweight???

I was just wondering, did Mayorga even fight at Jr. Middleweight? If he didn't who's bright idea was that. Don King maybe?

He fought at junior middleweight vs. Mitchell, when he weighed-in over 147 and couldn't fight Rivera for his belt...
