that's ******. toney has never had any experience in wrestling or brazilian jujitsu. he had 9 months to train for something that could take a lifetime to perfect. couture has had experience with the stand up game before. its not like couture only had 9 months to learn how to box.

Toney's legs are shot, not to mention he was never a big mover on his feet anyways.

Just look at the takedown. You can see Toney thinks to move, and his legs just won't react. Get a prime slick boxer, and that takedown would never work. Not that that boxer would win, but he would put on a much better showing.

Dana White knew what he was doing. He put Toney in there with a Wrestler and he told Couture to take him down and finish him. He wanted this win(Dana).

Why didn't Dana put him in with a striker/stand up guy and let Toney have more MMA training camps before taking on a world class wrestler?

Dana won't admit it but it was all a part of his plan to embarrass Boxing.
