Ishe is not a good opponent to comeback after a long layoff against, but Kirkland really is a beast.

Kirkland might run into some punches, but he'd abuse Smith. Guerrero was landing his straight left and jab, if Kirkland lands his, he won't be eating it as easy and Guerrero had Ishe stunned in the middle rounds.

There's nothing to do in jail except sleep, eat, read, and exercise... and having been in boxing, shadow boxing is addictive. Unless James blew up to 190+, there's nothing to worry about.

Guerrero is a solid fighter, Casamayor can pull any fighter into a boring fight. He's a master at controlling pace. Guerrero just needs to be matched against another solid opponent. Against Linares, Funeka, Acosta, Soto, or even Antillon or John Murray just because they're brawlers.
Well , I guess u never seen a commisary menu ,honey buns, twinkies, little debbies, ice cream all day at bastrop., the same b.s. ur boy in ur avatar be eating.he ballooned up to 205,210 so he wasn't doing too much excercising.. He was in halfway house these last couple of months so he mite dropped but who really knows exactly how much.plus depending if Ann Wolfe is off her rag is a big deal maybe not for a smith fight but future big time fights .
As far as ghost, casamayor is old as shit, he knocked Down ghost in the tenth, he was boring to watch in the klassen fight so I guess it's klassen fault too that it was boring like u make a excuse for casamayor can make A fight boring.he showed no heart off that b.s. Cut in the yordan fight.Ross just needs to stop wasting slots for him.

Highly defensive fighter with little movement, good chin and low output of punches. If you don't come really ready for him he will out point you, he has a difficult style

Huge cherry pick for ishe lol He knows James would have been out the ring for 2 years or so lol

Give kirkland a couple of bums to beat up this year to get his fitness back then let him fight ishe for a little bit of exposure.

That's too soon. There were a few reports that Kirkland did indeed balloon up quite a bit in prison, so don't expect his Nov 6th to be anywhere near the calibre of Ishe Smith. Maybe the next fight in early 2011. The last thing they should do is rush him right now...

Woah, I'm really shocked any one is giving Ishe a chance. I think Kirklands high output would give Ishe trouble. Ishe has a one-track mind when he fights and barely has a game plan to start with. I think Kirkland blows him out of the water. I like Ishe, I can consider myself a fan. I follow him on Facebook and even have him on my Xbox Live friends list, haha, but I'm a realist and just can't see Ishe pulling this off, especially looking at what stage he is in his career.

who ever Kirkland fights he shouldn't be fighting any bums on hbo, he's a pro and people pay money for cable tv. if he needs a bum then he should stay on the club scene.

WTF man, Ishe trying to get Kirkland coming off a long as hell layoff.

Kirkland should get at minimum if not more than 2 fights to get back to fighting form before he takes on someone as tough as ishe. These don't have to be HBO fights, but they can show his tune ups on ESPN, Sp!ke, or FSN.

I guess this is why people don't like Ishe, for pulling **** liek this.
