Age has nothing to do it. Manny has been brawling and fighting professional for damn near his entire career. With that style even though his age is younger by a couple of years, in ring years he's way older

because Manny get hit a lot and fought more and tougher opponents who were bigger than him? i dont buy that mayweather is showing signs of slipping b.s. though. not because he was rocked by an old Mosley it means he was past his prime. Mosley was no bum of a fighter even in his late 30's. that dude dont even get much punishment when he fight. im not saying its his fault but i dont buy that past his prime, showing signs of slipping excuses. if there is a guy who may be slipping pretty soon it would be Manny Pacquiao. He got hit pretty good against Cotto and CLottey even though he won and dominated those guys. i dont see him getting better physically but i see him getting smarter.

Manny and Mayweather should fight now or else it wouldnt be as competitive as we have been anticipating.

What signs has Floyd showed of slipping? His last fight is his best win in his career.

            Simply, no.

1 year is a very long time in boxing, very long time! I see another RJJ vs Hopkins 2 situation arising. Everyone assumed they'd eventually just get it on and keep winning in the mean time but it only happened in their 40s and no one cared.

                  Your thread makes no sense.

Floyd has been past prime since he stopped fighting at 130-135 and Manny is in his prime right now. It would make no sense for him to wait a couple of more years because his reflexes will decline, his foot speed and hand speed will decline, stamina will decrease, etc.

Remember when Manny stopped fighting the best and started fighting weight drained, past prime, and shot fighters?
