I enjoy violence in any form boxing just happens to be my favorite. Im not going to pledge any type of silly allegiance to a sport I see no money from. As a matter of fact I spend a lot of money on this sport, so they get all the support they need from me. Ive got the money to order these type of fights, so again why is it a problem? You just sound like a hater plain and simple. Go bust heads in the street and maybe you'll get a shot. He doesnt have a monopoly on street fighting the opportunity is available to anyone.
Boycott Kimbo Slice in boxing

Kimbo didn't make a mockery of anything. He went into MMA and hooked up with the right people and tried to learn. He entertained when they put him in with guys who would **** with him like Tank Abbott. Its not like he talked trash like Toney did. He did the ultimate fighter show and earned UFC great ratings even though he knew he could get paid prime money to fight other places. Why? because he understood he was entry level. Everyone in the company including Dana White ( after he talked crap about him) said the guy was a class act the whole time and remained humble through the whole process. He he got beat they parted ways. No shame in losing.Comment

I'm in it for the money no legacy - seem familair.
Most boxers r in it for the payday, it is declining as a old school noble sport unfortunatly and he has good hands. Let the man get KTFO if he wants.
I just want to see him with no beard.Comment

This was how it was when he went MMA
When Kimbo first entered into MMA he was ****ing hated on just like TS is doing. He won a couple of introductory fights (including that one with Ray Mercer) but then lost a fight to a last minute substitute replacement fighter named Seth Petruzelli - funny thing is that Petruzelli actually has some legit skills in the sport.
After he lost that fight he took a huge amount of ridicule. All during this time Dana White said he'd never even entertain taking Kimbo into the UFC as he was considered a freakshow. Then White opened the door a tiny crack and stated that he'd let Kimbo into the UFC if he went through on the "Ultimate Fighter" reality show...thinking that Kimbo would never do this because he'd likely opt to go on the Japan MMA circuit and earn mega bucks over there (they like the huge, behemoth, scary looking American bad ass types over there!!) rather than do this reality show where he might get badly exposed and lose his marketability if he was embarrassed.
Rather than go to Japan Kimbo surprised the hell out of everybody, ****** it up, and went on that reality show (which really is a tough row to hoe and pays **** too boot). Kimbo legitimately wanted to see if he could earn his way on it.
And at the beginning of that show MMA fans hated him. However, after seeing him the public saw a guy who didn't come across as some sort of asshat street thug gangster, but rather that he came across as a genuine, likable, humble, and decent human being who really seemed to be just doing what he had to do to sc**** out a way to put food on the table for his kids (and he has a **** of a lot of them!). Not only that but he was respectful to the sport, other fighters and its fans...and he worked very hard at trying to turn himself into a legit fighter despite that he started the sport very late in life and he clearly lacked some of the athletic gifts needed to succeed in the sport.
And he truly wanted to entertain by standing and "****ing" with guys.
How can you not like and support a guy like that? He may never be an elite MMA fighter or boxer, but the guy's turned his life around and is trying to do what most of us are trying to do which is make himself a better life and do it honestly.
Let the guy give it a shot...really, do you have anything to lose?Comment
