      He went the distance with Salvador Sanchez, Wilfredo Gomez, Barry McGuigan, Julio Cesar Chavez, Azumah Nelson, and Kostya Tszyu.

      None of those guys could put him down. The guy wasn't a great fighter, but had a hell of a chin and tons of heart.


      Randall Bailey is the only guy I can think of that could without a doubt as he kept power all the way through

      I thought of Valero but I think once LaPorte withstands the early assault he would dial down his power to save himself from fatigue

            I don't know really but some of the guys who can take real hard shots from punchers sometimes can't take shots from fast guys who can punch because they don't see the shot coming, I don't think LaPorte ever faced a really, really fast guy.
