Yes he wanted to fight those guys, a lot of the young, hungry up and coming guys call out the guys at the top but once they get to the top everything changes...

Im making the point that he wanted the fights. People act like he didnt. They also act as if Floyd is the only reason the fights didnt happen and thats bullshyt. Period.

Kostya was on showtime.
Popo and Hamed didnt want it.
Arum killed the Top Rank fights.
Oscar was too big at the time for an unknown and risky Floyd.
Mosley was too busy chasing said Oscar.
Then yeas later Mosley had a toothache.

What make people think that those guys wanted any part of Mayweather, clearly a lot of guys only been watching boxing since Pacquiao became famous but none of those guys really wanted to fight Mayweather especially that version of Mayweather (which was a lot more dangerous then the one now), he would have embarrassed them all and they knew it...ESPECIALLY MOSLEY! Margarito was the only one I seen actually approach him about fighting him so I give Margarito credit for that and who knows maybe that fight would have happened if Margarito didn't turn around and lose to Williams shortly after (something people always leave out)

It went like this; Floyd called out Hamed, who had just been approached by HBO with a fight plan to fight guys like Morales, Barrera, Tapia and others. Big money fights and would have earned Hamed more money than a Floyd fight.

Did Hamed come out and say that or like you are insinuating, "Didn't want any of Floyd"? No....hamed basically said, I am the champ at 126, if Floyd want's to fight me, then he has to come to my weight class.

Hamed wasn't going anywhere and was set on ending his career at 126. There may have been a thought here are there to move up to 130 but 126 got hot in a hurry and all roads led to Hamed as he was the cash cow of the lower weight classes and the consensus top guy at 126.

During Hamed's time, that was the Golden era of the FW division. People think 118 and 168 were hot but they had nothing on 126 during that time. Don't believe me:

Barrera ATG HOF
Tapia HOF
Pacquaio ATG HOF (was eventually heading up there)
Marquez ATG
Ayala elite fighter during that time
Sanchez to contender

and a several other good fighters during that time. Hamed didn't even duck Floyd....just told him that he would have to come to him. Hamed had all those future HOF's and ATG's chasing him, HBO making him ridiculous offers for those fights, and was officially the man when he fighting......so please stop with that b.s. in an attempt to make Floyd look better than what he is!!!!!!!
