Two different sports

Couture would have no chance of beating Toney in a Boxing match.

Couture's stand up is average in MMA, he's traditionally a ground game master. Toney might be past prime but Couture's stand up in MMA is poor.

I'd like to see Toney punish Couture for 12 rounds, show him the difference between the sports. Couture would probably also have to switch stance, his MMA stance is quite square on which would lead to huge issues.

No way. What Couture did wouldnt work in a street fight, because you dont want to get that close. I would never train anyone to lay on their opponent in a street fight, easiest way to get stabbed. Did you see Toney throw a few punches to the side. In a street fight for self defense purposes...thats the easiest way to wind up dead. Also Couture was clearly open to eye gauges and in a real fight Toney could have reached around and ripped off his balls. Easiest way to win a street fight, punch someone in the face and knock them out.
