Over the years many of you must have seen fighters that take on fighters that were very good, beast them in one sided fashion, and leave them in the state of ruined fighters either phisically or mentally. A number of examples from the past eras of boxing include Muhammad Ali, young George Foreman, Rocky Marciano, and Marvin Hagler, who would leave their opponents in shambles leaving them eroded both physically and mentally. In the current era the most obviosu example is Bernard Hopkins, who has mentally disfugured many top fighters in the last two decades in the sport.
This raises the question of the curremt young crop of fighters, who is the soul snatcher that ruins fighters and takes years off of their primes today. When it comes to this a name that must come up in one's head is Andre Ward, a man who seems to have taken years off his last two opponents careers after dishing out one sided beatings, where both looked drained psychologically more than anything afterwards.
The looks on Kesslers and Greens faces told it all. Beyong the swelling and cuts, one could see that they both had a look of grief and dispair on their face, which suggests that they realized at that point in time, that they lost the majority of the fighting spirit they had thoughout most of their careers as boxersa.
