Could Mayweather be defensive and get enough done offensively to repel a fighter like that, im not sure he could, i dont think he could be defensive and not let it effect his offense, now i know Mayweather's offense comes from his defense, but how much transition from offense to defense are you going to get against quick combination punchers like this?

I guess Mosley could fall into that category, but Mosley is too old to be as consistent as he was, needs to be.
what was Oscar. Zab Judah, Genero Hernandez, Sharmba Mitchell,Justin Juuko, oh yeah Juan Manuel Marquez..

Zab Judah is not an aggressive fighter, Mitchell seems more like a defensive fighter to me, as is Marquez, plus, Marquez is not a volume puncher, plus he is slow as hell at 147

          You are nitpicking...
All the fighters I named were aggressive fighters, it is just when they fought Mayweather their volume drops and now all of a sudden they not consistent boxers..?

          **** what about Emanuel Augustus..

THREADS LIKE THIS MAKE ME WANT TO START RIPPING APART PEOPLE'S RESUMES.

Im not nitpicking at all, Judah is not an aggressive combination puncher who is going to press you behind his Boxing skills and all night.

You will get angry, i speak the truth, apparently the truth hurts, you just co-signing what im saying by getting pissy.

KD, what do you mean by consistent boxer? If you're referring to Leonard or Norris...well, those kind of boxers come about two or three times a generation and in this generation...Floyd is one of them.

So the closest one to the OP's description is Oscar, and he ended up getting outboxed by Floyd.

Lol you are over creating fighters based on Attributes you say Mayweather opponents dont have. My argument these opponents do have this attributes. however when they faced Mayweather this tools got taken away from them.

Based on Mosley last fight with Mayweather what kind of fighter would you call Mosley?

                  Backpeddler
                  Economical
                  Fainter
                  counter puncher

and this is a guy with a 74% Knock Out percentaged.

But based on your logic, sense they didnt apply pressure and box against Mayweather they dont do it at all.

                  SMH at pure ignorance.

Your a clown son if you think Judah in anyway shape or form can be described as an aggressive combination puncher. Judah is a counter puncher first a foremost, thats just common sense, i know you desperately wont to make him out to be something else, but you cant, they are not that type of fighter, i mean, what kinda person suggest Marquez is an aggressive combination puncher Lol

Mosley could be described as that kinda fighter, although Mosley was almost 40, thats just a fact.
