Would never happen...Dana doesn't even co-promote in his own sport, not for a long time anyway...

LOL Henry is like 3 weight classes ahead if him. And the funny thing is, a guy like Frankie Edgar would actually do pretty good in boxing. His style is very suitable for the boxing ring. But again, they're two different sizes so it couldn't happen.

Why would Frankie Edgar even contemplate this? His core strength is in wrestling.

Why doesn't Henry go and call out some ADCC fighters, or some karate fighters to do the same thing? (where's the facepalm icon when you need it?)

          Yeah that's actually pretty true.

Edgar has a really nice in and out style for boxing.

Let's not be so hasty. I'm a fan of both sports and I can tell you that his movement is greatly amplified by the sheer size and dimensions of the cage. I honestly think that he would get cut off pretty easily in the ring. The cage size coupled with many mixed martial artists' poor boxing technique makes edgar's style look better than it actually is. Don't get me wrong, his movement is awesome, but you have to look at it purely in an MMA context.

                Yes I understand that.

Omar Henry would surely make Edgar's style useless inside a boxing ring.

Simply because since a boxing ring is much smaller, it's easier to cut your opponent off..

Boxers and MMA fighters should stop calling each other out to compete in their sport. We all already know what's going to happen. Why don't they compete in something neither athlete is a professional in. They should compete in like figure skating, that way it's fair game.

Frankie Edgar and B.J.Penn weighed in at 154 pounds for that fight. So the weight wouldnt be an issue if they were to ever fight
