i'm just disappointed that he maybe not intentionally but nonetheless his involvement in the fight made it possible for Dana White to promote this as a Boxing vs MMA type even which is a bunch of bull****. Of course the mma groupies and the casual fan will eat this crap up as UFC being better fighters than boxers... Damn shame!

Oh yeah, Dana played his cards right....I have a feeling he's been waiting for this opportunity and it finally happened...I know I should hate him right now, being a huge boxing fan, but I respect his game and wish boxing was run by a dude like that

but it's funny how the idea was being brewed up a while ago when Silva was considering boxing, Roy Jones I believe, and Dana shut this whole idea down right away...he wanted to be the one who got a piece of this first

Exactly. Because if the roles were reversed, Silva would be exposed in a boxing ring, even by an ancient RJJ. Which IMO, is even worse than what happened tonight. James has nothing to be ashamed of, IMO. He came, he fought, and he got paid. Nothing wrong with that. Nobody in their right mind expected him to win anyhow.

No doubt, Dana wasn't crazy enough to let Silva near a boxing ring....even against an old washed up legend like Roy...

Roy KOs him in 4 after he toys with him and looks like the Roy of old

And let us not forget that Anderson Silva was actually a professional boxer before becoming pro in MMA. His record was 0-2. Look it up. He idolized RJJ.
