Another great win for Mexico. Segura has the typical Mexican style of attacking like crazy, while Calderon was technical but hugging too much, he looked like a coward at certain moments. Very good fight though.

Calderon was outboxing him at some points of the fight and landied the harder shots. He just folded under the relentless pressure. Props 2 Segura for taking the blows and making Iron Boy quit. Please leave the Cotto-Margarito comparisions at home guys. Tony Is a cheating scumbag. Segura has my respect.

At some points yes, Calderon was throwing good combos, but Segura was doing all the pressure and took all the risks. Calderon behaced like a coward by hugging too much, thatīs what makes Puerto Rican boxers girls. Hugging is part of ths sport, but hugging AFTER YOU DELIVER A PUNCH is being a coward. When refs start deducting points, people will stop with the unnecessary hugging.

Its about being smarter, If the boxer knows he is hurt & cant answer back, why on earth would anyone want brain damage & get hit in the head until KO comes, look at Margarito vs Mosley, he decided to come out in the ninth round after being sent to the canvas & got another worse ass whoopin, looks like future brain damage to me, Margo looked like crap against Garcia.

Gotta give big props to Segura for a great win, kid fought amazing & Calderon folded, end of story.

Itīs very simple. Itīs a matter of machismo. Latinos, with the exception of most Puerto ricans, fight to the end. You mention Margarito, well, he never hugged Mosley, even when he was getting hit. Mosley was the one hugging before that. If Mosley didnīt hug, Margo would have won. And he would win in a rematch.

You are right, bro. Calderon ran and hugged all the time, just trying to win by decision with his girly punches that didnīt hurt a fly. He is tachnical and showed decent bravery here, but just in lapses. Mexicans are simply relentless. Take Cintron for instance, heīs mad cause he doesnīt have as much media exposure like Angulo, but itīs because he fights like a coward and Angulo is relentless.
