Former long-time WBA bantamweight champion Wladimir Sidorenko (22-2, 7 KOs) made a successful shift down in weight in his comeback on Saturday night and defeated former contender Mbwana Matumla (19-5, 11 KOs) of Tanzania lopsidedly over twelve clinical rounds. Scores were 120-108 (twice) and 119-109 – for the Ukrainian who is now a WBC International Silver champion (for whatever that means). The fight was the main event of a show, arranged by Elite Boxing Promotion on the Square of Independence, a cult place for a number of Ukrainians in the very center of Kiev. [Click Here To Read More]

Good deal. I was headed on to here to look for a stream, but as long as I know Sidorenko got it done in a dominant fashion, I'm okay with that.
EDIT: I realize it's a little weird that I asked for a stream considering what else I've posted today, but... I hadn't seen the article about it beforehand.Last edited by Fox McCloud; 08-28-2010, 05:53 PM. -
The article on here said that Sidorenko dominated 12 rounds in clinical fashion or something like that.Originally posted by Freedom FighterMbwana Matumla was robbed. I didn't see the fight, but I know Matumla must have beaten the little robot. Mbwana is athletically superior, according to Max Kellerman.Comment

I also didnt watch the fight cuz I just came home from work. but I share the same opinion. it was a robbery.Originally posted by Freedom FighterThey were lying. That little robot is too stiff to beat an athletic fighter like Matumla.
I didn't see it, but I know it was a robbery. Max Kellerman is going to talk about it on the next HBO telecast.
Ask your friend Warp, he'll agree even if he didn't see the fight.Comment

We actually just made those threads to mess around and see how many people lost their mind at the absurd claims we were making back and forth.Comment

By the way, is Sidorenko really bad?
I heard his win over Agbeko was a bad decision, and he deserved to lose both fights to Moreno.
I'm interested to hear what people thought of the Cordoba draws as well.
People seem to think that he is just a robot who is super predictable.Comment

Agbeko fight was REALLY close and SD/MD either way or a draw would be appropriate decision. IMO Sidorenko won first fight vs Cordoba convincingly, rematch vs Cordoba was much tougher and draw is good decision. I also thought that Sidorenko close won first fight vs Moreno and deservedly lost in rematch.By the way, is Sidorenko really bad?
