    Martinez and pac

Am I the only one here who isn't a ******* that thinks Floyd whoops Martinez easier than he does manny? Martinez is the easiest fight for him out of the three southpaws we want to see him fight, imo.

I can see why you say that - Martinez would try to box with the quicker Mayweather, and chances are he'd get UD'd

Pacquiao would get in and out, with quick combos, but he doesn't have the boxing skills Martinez does.

Not sure, i think Pac might give him a tougher fight, but at 160 (not 154) Martinez would have a significant edge

Why would you think that? Martinez is an excellent counter puncher, he has pop to his punches and cuts guys up with the way he turns his fists when punching. He has a height and reach advantage over Mayweather and he punches in combinations but switches up the way he throws punches, hard to figure out. Sure Floyd can hit him cleanly but I think Martinez's style would really trouble Floyd.

Martinez is a southpaw which leaves him more open to Floyd's all time great right hand. Martinez even fights with his hands down on top of what being a southpaw makes him vulnerable for.

The jab is harder to land when you're an orthodox fighting a southpaw, but Floyd won't have any trouble establishing his jab due to Martinez hands down design.

Floyd has been tagged cleanly a few times in the past by round right handed punches, and Martinez best punch is the southpaw right hook. Young Mayweather would make it a priority to take away that punch as soon as possible. Martinez doesn't really have straight left hand, so he would end up being unarmed fighter.

Martinez rhythm is easier to figure out than filipino pride's rhythm. Martinez is off balance all the time, but filipino pride is only off balance sometimes.

pac is a better combination puncher than Mart. pac likes to take breaks during rounds, but Martinez likes to completely take the middle rounds off.

There's no way he would whoop Martinez, but Martinez boxes and doesn't overwhelm with punches, and that is certainly more of Mayweather's type of fight than what Williams or Pacquiao would try and fight Mayweather.

Martinez's movement and size would give Floyd a tough fight though, don't confuse it.

And I think Floyd would only fight him at 154, not 160. Floyd isn't that big at all. He's only slightly bigger than manny. I don't ever see Floyd going up to 160.

Considering what Floyd does best, which is out think, move, and box, a guy who also tries to move and box is probably an easier fight than an awkward southpaw who hits hard, throws a lot, and has no set pattern to what and where he throws.
