A reliable source from Argentina, with close ties to WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, advised BoxingScene.com that widespread reports of a Paul Williams rematch being a "done deal" for November 20 are "very premature." While there has been progress in the negotiations, no contracts have been signed between the fighters, or with HBO. In fact, I was told neither side has even exchanged a "draft" of a contract. The Martinez side is reportedly nervous and claim the Williams camp is "dragging their feet."
