Not really because it will be spun as a stay busy fight in prelude to Pacquiao vs Mayweather.

Now this is me just speculating, but I could see a scenario in which Floyd and Pac agree to fight in March, and Floyd uses this as a fight to stay active.

if both sides agree to terms prior, then no fan should get mad because it only makes sense for Floyd to take a fight vs having a year off before facing Manny.
