What is HBO, Team Pacquiao Real Stance on Margarito

If I'm not mistaken HBO and Team Pacquiao continually said throughout the last two years that Margarito deserved what he got and should not fight again, they made the point that they think Margarito knew and was guilty for his actions. But suddenly Arum comes with the idea of a Pacquiao - Margarito fight and this is Ok with Team Pacquiao and to an extent HBO. This is a very hypocritical action by both and fans should not support them.

I dont work for HBO but my guess is they see that this ppv does over 1 mil so they figure they better get their cut.

pac is big business and HBO wants a piece of that.

team pac don't care as long as they are getting paid. no one is getting the fight they really want (mayweather) so this can be seen as a very expensive stay busy fight.

Totally agree, even as a big Pacman and Roach fan.

Team Pacman now saying they're going to punish him in the ring is a pretty lame excuse. Don't fill his pockets with money and undermine your previous complaints for him to be punished properly.

Unfortunately bad actions attract more press, public interest and this money sometimes...and the weak will be apart of it at times.

If Marg can't fight in most states, that should take overall importance in judging fighting him morally in my mind. It's not oh one states let him so lets do it. It should be most haven't so stay the heck away.

Marg's also pretty overrated in my mind but he will be a tough fight for Pac nonetheless.
