I have a big problem with this fight in general. If Margarito had been a doing his thing at 154 then I would understand but he hasn’t been. The fight makes no sense to me what so ever. I will say that the catch weight is in Margarito’s favor. Let’s remember he is a huge welterweight. He was off for a year so making 147 would be a little tough for him. So they are letting him come in at 150. That is ideal for Margarito right now. !50 does not do Manny any good. He barely comes in over 145. This was done for Margarito which is really puzzling to me. Manny is the A side of this fight, they should have made Margarito make 147. Nobody could complain because Margarito was the man and most feared fighter at welterweight.
