    What if (it's about Roy)??

What if Roy Jones Jr. beats Antonio Tarver by UD and then goes on to face Glen Johnson and also beats him by UD. Will this help his legacy as dramatically as the KO losses hurt his legacy or will it not have that big of an effect.

Also another question, if he beats them both by a wide decision, will their KOs always be superior to the way he beat them?

    Opinions please.

The legend will be reborn. If he KOs both Tarver & Johnson, then those loses will be explained, maybe he didn't took them to seriously. These will be huge fights for Jones, he will be back on the all time list if he wins, especially KO.

I think all Roy has to do is beat Tarver and then he could retire. Tarver's started his downfall so he should be the one to pay.

Maybe we could pay for Nunn to be released from jail, track down Norris, ask Dariusz to ask Rocchigiani to come out of retirement, bring Benn over from Spain, and pay Eubank enough money ... and Roy could settle a few scores once and for all lol

Yeh but they'd all have to be 6 round cruiser fights to account for age, weight, shotness etc lol oh and 20oz gloves

If Jones avenges his losses it will put him back to the top. Losses to fighters if avenged successfully are overlooked in the sport. It did woners for Lennox.

                Okay. I get that part.
But does that mean he necessarily has to beat them by KO?

No but he couldnt leave any doubts about the wins either. The thing with the Johson fight is though that if Roy wins Glen would demand another rematch. So Roy would have to beat him twice.

Also if Roy fought either one of them again and fought cautiously he would be heavily criticized.

I reckon he has to lay out Tarver on the canvas, proper mash-up style, first round job. out cold for two minutes.

Then he has to come back for the Mon who's not the best, but willing to fight the best, and come back with skills supreme to the max. Dishing out nuff tump and ting, boxing up my mans up de side of de head, effortlessly outclassing Johnson and leaving him battered and KO, flat out.

For me, it's gotta be both KOed... and in whitewashes.
