I think this is a bogus fight based on how Pac clottey played out and the fact pac floyd is still makeable (according to Bob himself). I will accept any criticism you have but I feel how I feel.

The fight is bogus no doubt about it. But, your post and the idea of it is bogus too.

Marg doesn't deserve the fight. But, if he wins(which I don't think he has a chance) Arum won't be that upset. He might have a WTF moment. But, lets keep it real, Pac is not undefeated, he doesn't stand behind his "0", fans don't think he is an ATG cuz he never lost. He has lost, he has lost in recent memory. But, Pac has the type of loyal fanbase that will stand behind him no matter what. He can't do no wrong in his loyal extremist fans eyes. Arum will still make money from Pac if Pac losses cuz his fans will still buy his fights. So Pac will still be the cash cow in Top Rank.

And, at the same time have Margarito back. A rematch could happen that will make Arum more money. A rematch with Cotto would be very possible and make Arum more money. Fact is if Pac wins, Arum would have 2 guys in his stable with Pac and Cotto that have loyal fan base. And, two more guys that will bring in some money with Margarito and JCC Jr. So Arum won['t be pissed about it.

This fight is same as clottey. It is used to make manny look like he has more of a chance against floyd. This is a keep busy fight for manny. And, while I agree Marg/cotto 2 ia possible, there is no guarantee Cotto agrees. He has several more lucrative options, including floyd, sergios, pwill. They are all non top rank.
