I would have preferred Pacquiao fight someone else, perhaps Bradley or Berto, but it was Bob Arum not Manny who chose Margarito.

if pacquiao didnt want to fight somebody he wouldnt, hes definitely in a position refuse an opponent at this point. hes obviously on board with the fight or it wouldnt happen. im not trying to hate on pacquiao though, infact i have no problem with the fight other than the fact that its for a title.

DONT GET IT TWISTED. most Pac fans have demonstrated their hate for the fight. but what are we going to do? obviously we couldn't get a t.bradley or jmm trilogy. obviously pbf wont fight him. so it's a stay busy fight.

pac should get his ass chewed for not even showing any type of heart in saying **** margocheater and taking the money. that doesn't show he took his fans opinions at all.

Pacquiao chose to fight Margarito. From a business standpoint, it was the right move. But it proves that Pacquiao’s ethics are as questionable as Margarito’s. Why allow Margarito, who, I might add, was completely torn apart by Mosley after the advantage was removed from his wraps, to make that kind of money? When you sleep with dogs, you get fleas and Philippines congressman Pacquiao is flea-infested at the moment.

Never was there a thought of doing the right thing, of setting a good example for the people in his boxing-mad country and refusing to fight an obvious cheater. Instead, Pacquiao grabbed for the money and didn’t care if he rewarded Margarito handsomely in the process. Pacquiao is as de****able as the rest of the bunch.

Bob Arum is a piece of cow dung, we all know that, and maybe Floyd fears Pacquiao. Maybe they're just delaying that fight until 2011. Who knows?

But at the people putting ALL the blame on Arum and hardly any on Pacquiao. Pacquiao is by far Top Rank's biggest moneymaker and is a bonafide star in the sport. He can get just about any fight he wants. Nobody is forcing him to fight Margarito, nobody forced him to sit and wait while Margarito went to different commissions looking to get licensed. Pacquiao's no small-name fighter on the outside looking in who gets little say in whom he fights. Yeah, Arum is forcing Manny to sign a contract for an eight-figure payday against Margarito.

He deserves much blame too.
