    3D Boxing on the Internet?!?!?!?

Universum Box-Promotion has announced their next project. Boxing fans will for the first time be able to see 3D boxing over the Internet. On Saturday, a 3D highlight video will premiere with three fights from the July 31 world championship doubleheader in Hamburg. The fights feature ex-world champion Juan Carlos Gomez (heavyweight), German amateur world champion Jack Culcay and promising young talent Arthur Matern (both light middleweights). There will also be a training video of Culcay.

All the action was shot with special 3D cameras and will be available for viewing on BILD.de. To see the show in 3D, you’ll need some standard red/cyan 3D glasses. Buyers of Saturday’s print edition of BILD will get a pair free. The 3D video was not seen on the live ZDF telecast, but previously only beamed into a select group inside the 3D lounge of the o2-World.

I think sky sports should do 3D boxing as they have the cameras, even though i think films in 3D are a bit gimmicky I would like to see what boxing looks like in 3D.
