Holyfield vs Nielsen: WHY?

Because Nielsen was dug up from 8 years of inactivity, much like fossilized dinosaur remains. Not to mention, he's in his mid 40's.

Despite Holyfield's ongoing activity in the sport, he is a little over the hill and has the distinction of being the last man to ever see a living stegosaurus in the late jurassic period.

Oh, I get it. There is a traveling stage show called "Walking with Dinosaurs" where life size animatronic dinos walk at glacial speed across the stage. I just took my little guy to see it in Anchorage. So I'm sure the title is copyrighted, but maybe they could do "Boxing with Dinosaurs".

this fight was discussed last year around the time holyfield\botha almost fell apart in africa...they were going to pay holyfield & nielson quite a bit of money...at least a million euro each.holyfield is just in for the paydays now.

If Holyfield is gonna get a $1 million + payday then good for him. He needs the money and a fight with Nielsen is much less dangerous than a fight with one of the K Bros...

I doubt many people will pay for that fight. 10 years ago I would have paid but not today. He can't even train properly due to a busted knee. It's too bad he is broke but he is not getting my money. I don't want to see him knocked out.

Whatever happened to Holyfield vs. Sherman Williams in November? Before EH fights a guy like Nielsen or Tua he needs to prove he can still fight (beating Frans Botha means nothing now). But if he could beat Williams and Tua that would prove that he still has something left other than a heart beat...
