Forgotten classic: Margarito vs. Cintron 2

Interesting to see Tony pre-Cotto. Also interesting to see the behavior of Cintron when the going gets tough.

What puzzles me is, why didn't he jump out of the ring in this fight? It was far more punishing than anything "the punisher" did to him in 3 rounds.

Good description... After the first round it was all down hill from there for Cintron. I remember him even turning his back toward Margarito, so he can complain and get time (and probably point deductions) for a foul he was initiating.

Makes me want to watch it again

This fight is similar to Diaz vs. Diaz where Julio tried to match Juan punch for punch won the first round, but Juan made him find out that he couldn't keep up and came for his heart.

That 2nd round was vicious. If this Margarito shows up instead of the dried up dog turd from the Mosley fight and the weak version (Garcia could've thrown him around the ring if he wanted to) that showed up against Garcia, he will take Pacquiao to dark places.

You don't just eat those body shots and I see that long right hand being able to land.

Great fights, I guess cintron didn't dive out because he still had confidence when he fought tony cuz he was undefeated at that point
