ok i've never seen that video lol. but here freddie says something different:

"Cotto said he won't fight below 147," says Freddie Roach, Pacquiao's trainer and manager who'll be receiving Trainer of the Year honors. "There's only one fighter I'll fight at '47, and that's the easiest fight for Manny Pacquiao — Floyd Mayweather."

but ok u got a source, so green K lol.

honestly, freddie is almost as bad as arum. he'll say one thing one day, then the opposite the next day.

Either of the possible fights Roach mentioned would be hugely attractive match-ups, but it is the Mayweather fight everyone really wants to see. Freddie admitted to Ring that Mayweather's style would perhaps give Pacquiao some trouble.

"That's a style that would give Manny some trouble," Freddie said of Mayweather's boxing style. "Manny likes when guys come to him. He used to be just aggressive but now he's a good counter-puncher. He could do both, though. Mayweather would pose problems. But if Mayweather laid on the ropes, Manny would beat the **** out of him.

u have to close ur ears when freddie talks now because his head has become too big. he likes to hear his own voice

Manny Pacquiao Believes He Can Beat Antonio Margarito

Many fans, and experts, found the idea of Margarito vs. Pacquiao absurd. Manny is not one of those people. According to Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, not only does Manny want to fight Margarito in the future - he believes that he can outbox the Mexican warrior. Speaking with boxing scribe Ron Borges, Roach says Pacquiao would not be worried about Margarito's physical advantages.

“Manny wants to fight Margarito,’’ Roach said. “Manny thinks he can outbox him. Margarito is a big welterweight. He’d have a lot of advantages physically but Manny doesn’t really worry about that. I don’t know but he believes he can beat him."

Margarito's Trainer Responds To Pacquiao and Roach

Javier Capetillo, trainer of Antonio Margarito, spoke with Luis Sandoval of BoxingScene.com, and made it clear that Antonio is ready and willing to take Pacquiao's challenge. Capetillo feels that Pacquiao would make a big mistake by going after Margarito, but he is very happy that Manny believes he can win.

"I also heard the rumor that Freddie Roach is saying that Pacquiao is ready for Margarito. I'm VERY happy to hear that. I think they are making a mistake but hopefully that fight actually happens. Pacquiao is a great fighter, I can't take anything away from him but yes, I have heard what Freddie Roach has been saying. He's saying they want to fight Margarito, that they are going to beat him and that's great. I'm happy to hear that.

"This is a business as well as a sport and if he thinks he can win, they are more than welcome to try. Also, he's (Pacquiao) beaten many mexican fighters so why not. I'm glad he's doing all the talking first and that he's saying they are going to beat Margarito. It makes me very happy to hear that."

Antonio Margarito, Manny Pacquiao Sizing Each Other Up

A few weeks ago, trainer Freddie Roach told boxing scribe Ron Borges that Pacquiao has a real urge to fight WBA welterweight champ Antonio Margarito. According to Roach, Pacquiao is convinced that he can outbox the much bigger Margarito.

still, all that was before plastergate and getting murdered by shane.

now that i think of it, the only way a pac victory would mean anything is if roach and pac INSIST that marg load his gloves. yup. PW beat marg when marg had loaded gloves. Cotto fought him with loaded gloves. Pac should do the same!

              lol
