I've been wanting a good read.
What's the best boxing book out there?

American Son is good, short and you can finish it in a couple of days during your lunch breaks. It was interesting to see how he wanted to break from Arum so early and how Schaefer came into the picture, also how he was a guy who didn't have any affection and the rather cliche tale of filling the void in his life with random women. Good story tho.
I recently read Hauser's 'the boxing scene' and while it is a look back into before cotto-margarito, pac's rise to stardom, etc., he does go in depth about misc. about the sport - the media, dying heavyweights, boxing comissions, and some insights on jim lampey, not to mention inside details on pavlik and hattons moments before the biggest fights of their life, also a good section on the decreasing number of quality trainers.Comment
