Can Margarito ever redeem himself to those who now hate him?

    Just wondering.

If so what would he need to do?

Go back in time and throw the Cotto fight for the Cotta ******s.

And go back in time and never punk Mayweather into ducking and subsequent retirement for the *****'s.

    Unfortunately its not possible.

    The ownage is irreversible.

He needs to do spectacular work. But something tells me he'll be stuck in gear one from the outset. If he bombs, then it was to be expected.

he never even apologized to mosley for trying to cheat against him.
he still maintains that capetillo acted alone, yet was reluctant to let him go and never filled suit against him.
if he would've manned up and took responsibility for his actions, i would understand.
people commit mistakes, and sometimes everyone needs a second chance.

he wont man up and continues to lie though. wont apologize. and it's too late for that now anyway. so **** em let him fight but i will take great pleasure in watching his cheater ass smashed

He has taken this situation as a complete victim, never even aplogizing to Mosley or the Public

He is not the victim here and that combined with the fact that plaster can kill, it is one of the most unforgivable thing in sports

Tony would have to tell Cotto he doesn't have to scrub his toilet or address him as "papi" anymore

You don't need plaster to kill and boxing could be much safer if they used amateur gloves and headgear. It's not any defense at all of Margarito, and clearly there is advantage to having plaster, but I think it's a bit overblown...

The start of recovery begins when he was given License to fight in Texas, a place where you can find a lot of American-Mexicans.
