You cant catchweight your way to a title and think youre gonna get any respect from those who know boxing.

Not entirely true,if U must fight at a catchweight for a title,it should at least be against a champion, not a cheating bum for a vacant title, that's just suspect!!

      that's fine. who cares?

it's not like pac would be regarded a real champ anyway.

      it's just a paper belt. don't mean ****.

He could have fought a defending champion like K-9 and legitimately been a title holder at SWW

Honestly I would respect that more, but Arum feels he needs to keep the money in house.

it doesn't matter it's just a paper belt.

only time it'd have weight is if he had fought pwill or sergio.

i'm watching the fight because i want to see pac-marg. if you don't? that's fine too.

i'm not coming to see a 154 title fight. i'm coming to see pac fight marg.

it's what the wbc? wbc is more corrupt than the other corrupt sanctioning bodies.

it's not just keeping the money in house.

              it's money PERIOD.

like it or not , a fight against marg would sell more than berto , pwill , sergio , bradley and them.

              just how it is.

don't underestimate the mexican boxing fans. biggest , most important demographic in boxing.

I feel sorry for some little known deserving contenders who should be fighting for the belt so they can become more notable but what can we do, it is boxing politics after all.

it doesn't matter. it's not like pac will keep the belt.

that's why the orgs do that.

put it up for pac , pac pays sanctioning fees , they strip pac later and then can put it up again for another vacant fight.

I guess.........doesn't mean it isn't a scummy thing to do though.

What if Marg wins though, he might stay at 154 and be defending a title he won from what is essentially a LW who is over achieving.
