I don't think he was ever "the" champion. He won an interim belt and was elevated to a regular title, but fell short a few times when going for the "real" one.

However, he's fought some good fighters like Poon, Caballero, Sidorenko, etc., so he's no pushover.

word either one would be the type of opponent that rigo needs, either one would really tell us hwat rigo is made out of, damn rigo by his 7th fight would have fought a better opponent that gamboa has in 18 thats crazy and gamboa has faced pretty decent opposition too for only having 18 fights

Kelly Pavlik should fight an up and comer to see if he still has it in him at middlewght. If he loses no huge deal he moves to supermiddlewght and fights again.

I'm a little worried, even if Pavlik only fights a bum, and Pac fights a cheater, as long as Ridondeaux takes a step up I might actually have to thank Arum for making a good card.

Either one would be rigondeaux's toughest fight yet..but if he were to fight concepcion wouldn't concepcion have to move down in weight?...I believe concepcion is still very much capable and I hate how a lot of people are writing him off cuz the juanma fight...bernabe is only 22 or 23 yrs old..:I'm def getting this ppv
