Tough to say tho cuz out of your list most of those guys have fought just once this year...too early to decide...

If Floyd fought Sergio Martinez later this year and won I'd have him in contention...Mosley and Martinez(depending on how Shane looks against Mora)

I wouldn't give it to Pacquiao...Clottey's a good fighter but that fight was pathetic...and Margarito doesn't deserve to be in the ring with him, maybe even a license for that matter...
as much as i love manny i dont think he dserves it this year because clotty fight was not good and margarito is just coming back from layoff and knocout.

shane knockout margarito so if manny does the same that is not so great.

the best wins this year so far are pascal and sergio. so they are in the lead i think

Who did Pacquiao beat this year? Oh a cheating bum and a c level fighter who didn't want to fight....

      I'll give it to Martinez.

        I voted for sergio.

he beat pavlik, captured the 160 lineal title. if he gets pwill in the ring and beats him, that makes him the FotY hands down.

to be honest i have to admit that floyd beating shane is better than manny beating clotty.

but floyd fights once and manny will fight 2 times.

                Year is not over.

If Pacquiao beats Margarito that would be better than what Pascal did.

                Pacquiao: Clottey & Margarito
                Pascal: Chad Dawson.

Unless Pascal fights at the end of the year, against a really solid opponent, it's unlikely.

Like I said though if Dirrell beats Ward I would favor his wins over Abraham & Ward. But I think Ward will win and Ward beating Dirrell and Allen Green isn't enough for fight of the year since green sucks.

And Sergio Martinez could get it if he were to beat P-Will as well.

Lot's of different scenarios we'll have to wait and see.

Why is Mayweather not on the list?

                  Mayweather (fights again in december)
                  Dirrell
                  Ward
                  Montiel
                  Martinez
                  Williams

Pac has no chance: Marg and Clottey is a joke.

it sure aint pac. last year he won it in spades fighting top 10 p4p's hatton and cotto but, this year hes fought top rank tomato cans and confirmed cheaters so hes out of the question but i think either martinez or idk. if floyd does fight martinez and beats him he gets it for beating the legit welterweight champ and then beating the legit middle weight champ but thats a big if right now.

Its between Ward or sergio martinez.

Pacquaio is not winning this award at all for fighting Margarito and Clottey.

Floyd is not winning this because he only fought one fight.
