The SSM/Mayorga ko didn't look legit to me.

They were in a glorified sparring match then all of a sudden ****, he hits Mayorga with a shot that didn't look fantastic then he gets up does it again and the ref waves it off.

looked like some WWE shit to me

I don't know, it could have been something else. Maybe DLH told Hopkins to go easy and make it a close fight in return he will take a dive in the 9th round. I'm not good at these conspiracy things. It could have been a real body. Who knows.
That was De La Hoya's second highest payday. $40m. And it was close because Bernard was in there playin games. @ Oscar's ole' pitty pat flurries. One counter right by Bernard woulda ended all that madness.

delahoya mayweather- playing pattycake the entire fight not trying to hurt each other till the last 5 seconds?

mayweather mosley-mosley hurts floyd badly then immediately falls into a coma and can only throw arm punches.

the upcoming victor ortiz-vivian harris fight
You don't seem to have a lot of common sense lol.

If you watch tho, after Shane hurt him, Floyd covered up and Shane didn't kno where to throw the punches to follow up...I think Shane overtraining is a better claim...lol

Idk bout DLH-Mayweather...Floyd's a defensive fighter but it seems like he didn't wanna fight that night until the championship rounds...none of his shots had authority or anything on em...like he barely broke a sweat

DLH-Mayweather is shaky to me as well. Looked like both fighters were holding back. I remember after that fight telling everyone there would be a rematch and people telling me I was nuts. Then they started negotiating for a rematch a few months later...

Like Floyd said, if you've got the energy to be hitting the canvas with ure glove, you got the energy to get up.

Oscar did say he was shocked in the end cuz they were finally actually trading...who knows...

I don't think we saw 100 percent effort from either guy that night...

Oscar was in the fight until Rd. 8 or 9 and as soon as Floyd started REALLY working that was all she wrote...

I always thought De La Hoya vs. Hopkins was fixed just because of the fact some guy was screaming "body shot" and then a few seconds later Oscar goes down to a weak looking body shot.
I also believe something was going on with the De La Hoya vs. Pac fight just because of the way the HBO crew was acting during the fight. I remember steward saying months before the fight that this fight was just a freak show and that Pac had no chance. Then comes fight night and everyone thinks Pac is the favorite? You could just sense something was up.

Yeah, that was strange to me. It looked to me like Floyd coulda been tapping his butt whenever he felt like it. But he was very relaxed that night. I know he's a defensive fighter but he did the bare, bare minimum. All guesswork on our part though. But DLH-Hopkins? Come on, man. That's the definition of a fixed fight.
