Kessler giving up the strap has to be the work of Sauerland surely? He wants Abraham to fight for that title, and probably see's him as a bigger draw then the Dane. Kessler apparently has been told by Sauerland that he'll have a title fight in await on his return. Boy i hope it goes pearshaped for Sauerland, and for Abe to lose the Froch fight to teach him a lesson that he cannot have it his way all the time.

I wish for Kessler to have a speedy recovery, and hope to see his ring return in the new year.......nothing more important then health.

You can tell he means it too.

I get the feeling that he takes boxing with a pinch of salt really and just likes to have a good scrap and some banter along the way.

But can compassionate when it's serious like this. Him and Kessler have a lot in common, they both are boxers, both into bikes, both in the super six and both have respect for each other.
