    Some Bets Ive Made

So, Ive been a diehard boxing fan for about 15 years.

Within the past year, as a recreational hobby, I've began wagering and placing bets on boxing. Just for a little fun and maybe some extra money.

Of course, you can never 100% predict the outcomes of fights. But I joined internet boxing prediction leagues, and I always had about a 90% correct rate. I know the sport, I love the sport.

So here's some of my most recent wagers:

    - Kris Wlodarczyk at (-750) to win VS Jason Robinson... seemed like good odds and Kris is almost a lock in this fight. I was expecting to see -1500. -750 was a steal so I laid some money down.

    - Felix Sturm VS Giovanni Lorenzo (Over 9.5 rds -300)... Seemed like a good bet, I liked the odds, and I think this fight is definitely going over 9.5 rounds

    - Alexander Frenkel (+135) to win VS Enzo Maccarienlli. Ive seen Frenkel fight, and honestly, Id say he's as good if not better than Ola Afolabi. Macca has always been chinny, always had his problems. I like Frenkel in this fight and he was the underdog!

    - James DeGale (-750) to win VS Carl Dilks. I played small on this, I dont see DeGale losing this fight, and -750 seemed OK, prolly not the best though. I cant see Carl Dilks pulling this one off.

        So -700 is 1/7, right?

$7 on and you get a dollar back?

          Ya exactly,

Upon further consideration, I dont think it was good value to bet on James DeGale at -750. I do think there is some risk in that fight, and its not a good payout for that perceived risk.

But for Wlodarczyk/Robinson, 7.5 dollars to win 1 is good value! That fight is pretty damn close to a lock, and similar fights are sometimes up to 20 dollars to win 1.
