Hell no, he's not back in the top 10. Back to back knockout losses takes you off the radar permanentlyComment

I mean he could revive his career, but he's not getting p4p status til he whoops up on a bunch of the names in there like Winky and Taylor...which he won'tComment

so y do people put Glen Johnson on there after he beats a old Roy??? The man had 9 losses...if thats the case then he should have never been on it to begin with right???Originally posted by DiegoFuegoHell no, he's not back in the top 10. IMO if Jones can overcome his One and Only Rivaly, he is back in 2days P4P and it moves him up up further on the all time great list..Comment

personally, i would like roy to whip tarver's ass once again... tarver has become so content with his boxing and he is as boring as ever... i want redemption for jones... if he gets his 50th win, he can retireOriginally posted by Bad IntentionsWill he be back in the top 10 p4p??? I dont see why he wouldnt cuz he was #1 b4 tarver KOed him...And from beating Jones both Johnson & tarver have been on p4p lists.....What do u guys think...

I agree...if Jones doesnt get caught then He wins a fairly easy fight IMO...He is a way better boxer than Tarver on his best day...But the thing is i dont kno if Jones can take a punch..if hes fighting u gotta take a punch...Originally posted by air_kengpersonally, i would like roy to whip tarver's ass once again... tarver has become so content with his boxing and he is as boring as ever... i want redemption for jones... if he gets his 50th win, he can retire

I had the opportunity to talk to Roy about what was next, and we both agreed that Tarver is an easier fight for RJ, and he said he would take the fight, but not until he got back into the gym, and not until he was ready to do so - which meant - not any time soon....

So is the Oct. 1 date nothing but fiction, then? Seemed kind of early for a big comeback, though I guess there might still be enough time to get back in shape if things go well.Originally posted by SoundtravelerI had the opportunity to talk to Roy about what was next, and we both agreed that Tarver is an easier fight for RJ, and he said he would take the fight, but not until he got back into the gym, and not until he was ready to do so - which meant - not any time soon....

The Oct.1 date that I refered to in another thread, does not include RJ or Tarver, if that's what you are asking - and no Oct. 1 would not be too soon for Roy to get ready, but in terms of getting a promotion together, and getting a site fee done and such, then - I am inclined to say that if it were going to happen on Oct. 1, then the contract would have to be signed in the next week or so. Which I doubt very seriously will happen.
After talking to RJJ personaly, I would say that he is done....Comment
