Why Does Pacquiao Always Choose Difficult Challenges?

    Antonio Margarito

    Age: 32
Height: 5 '11 3/4 - just a quarter of an inch shorter than Tommy Hearns
Reach: 74 inches - just 2 inches shorter than Joe Louis

    Manny Pacquiao

    Age: 31
    Height: only 5 '6
    Reach: only 66 inches

Why can't Pacquiao just pick someone more of his own midget size instead of challenging and taking risks against gigantic adversaries? Does he really still have anything to prove?

margarito is not a challenge for Manny. slow fighters are not a challenge.

margarito was knocked out last year by mosley.

That is easy to say now...besides Clottey, many people were picking Hatton to smash Manny. Most thought Oscar would kill him...

and even clottey was expected to be a tough fight, pac was teh favorite obviously but I don't think anyone expected a 12-0 shutout.
