What a fight day that was. Everyone was buzzing in the aftermath. Big fan of both at the time.

Watch that very last punch thrown by margo....Cotto had taken a knee, and the ref saw it and Tony hit him when he was down. He should have been DQ's for that! Just like AA was for hitting Dirrell when he was down.

Cotto didnt pretend to be KOd though or he would have most likely got the DQ win. Cotto probably had too much pride.

Oh, i think i understand now...cuz he took a knee getting hit on a knee isn't grounds for a DQ? is that right? You have to be actually ko'd and THEN get hit for the other boxer to get DQ'd? Is that what you mean? I misunderstood you for a minute, but i think i got it now...?

it always bother me that after Cotto took a knee Margarito held back the left hand and threw a right hand.

I remember watching the fight with my buddies, I always rotted for Cotto whenever he fought, but me being Mexican I was rooting for Margo that time. We were all so excited when he won, it was a great win for Margo at the moment. Now I watch this and it makes me mad and uncomfortable knowing about the wraps, I have this fight in my computer and have not watched it since the wraps fiasco.........Margo really does not deserve this big payday with Pac

Even if Cotto loses to Chavez and Tony loses to Pac, that fight will still be worthy of Yankee stadium.

Though for Tony's safety, its probably better to do it in Cowboys stadium or Vegas.

Margarito already did his suspension. They just denied him a license that's all.

margachito is still suspended. One of the commissioners on the panel declared as much. Simply because he passed the minimum year does not mean that he 'did his suspension'. He's still suspended by the CSAC. Too bad texas will probably grant a license.
