    Scott Harrison vs Alex Arthur

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/4711675.stm

Promoter Frank Warren wants new European super featherweight champion Alex Arthur to fight WBO featherweight title-holder Scott Harrison next year.
Arthur won a unanimous points verdict over Boris Sinitsin on Saturday night and Warren believes the Scot should now take on his compatriot Harrison.

"I would love to do that fight," said Warren. "I don't see why it shouldn't happen sometime next year.

"It's Scotland's Benn versus Eubank and it will be a big fight in the UK."

Arthur himself was non-committal about a possible bout with Harrison.

"Personally I don't think Scott Harrison will have interest in me because he has huge fights looming," he said.

"But any fight is realistic if the money is there."

But Arthur was dismissive about a rematch with Michael Gomez, who beat him in a British title bout in 2003.

Gomez was ringside on Saturday night and challenged Arthur after the fight.

But the Scot said: "Michael Gomez is rather fat now, I don't think he could make the weight."
Just read the news, Frank Warren wants to make the fight.

IMO, Alex Arthur is the better boxer but he'll still get beat.

Even though Arthur's a super feather and Harrisons only a Feather i dont think there is any doubt would the stronger fighter is. Harrison will just rough him up.

What if one of them change their name to Eubank

Both Harrison and Arthur annoy the **** out of me but its a good match up, if you like boxing you should like a good styles match regardless of whos fighting.

I was gonna stick up for you in the Eubank thread, glad I didn't now.

Yeah, I reckon Harrison would do it. Though neither will get very far, will they?
