why would ward pull out? he's the favorite to win the tourney. he's gotta like his chances. if anyone would pull out it's dirrell because there's a good chance he could get eliminated if the cards fall wrong for him.

Since even the Froch-Abraham fight has not been finalized Showtime should just reshuffle the deck and have Froch-Dirrell II and Abraham-Ward and then have the winners fight for the title.

Dirrell has got Ward's number thats why. Dirrell is gonna bust him up. Think about it, Ward already gets all the praise because he is the no.1 favorite. So if he pulls out people are gonna say he would probably win the tournament. It's a win-win situation for him, especially considering the fact that in Dirrell he has got the toughest opponent till date.

Because he is most likely gonna get his ass whooped against Dirrell which will lower his market value.

That's why they should reshuffle and make the semifinals Ward-Abraham and Froch-Dirrell.

Ward would see the Abraham fight as very winnable, Dirrell would love to avenge his mediocre performance against Froch.

This way Ward would have no logical reason to back out of a matchup with The Matrix.

hell no, ward stepping out of the tournament right now is the dumbest move he could make. why the **** would the frontrunner step out of the race? that's like the lakers leading the series against boston and then quitting the finals after leading 2-0.

1) it don't make sense.
2) there is no closure
