I don't care about how much money Floyd makes.

I care that he's one of the best fighters in the world and he's going to fight a JR WW, with a shaky chin and no notable wins, when there are better fighters out there, that can still offer good money.
I don't disagree with you. I may **** on the validiity of the pac marg fight, but if Manny can make $22.5 mil hes GOT to take it. I watch for the same reasons but can't escape the economic realities of the sport.

I think it's debatable how soon he can be ready.

Again, I have not heard any info on the seriousness of the surgery or exactly what was done... not all surgeries are created equal.

He could of also used it to pull out of a fight with Jr... because him and Floyd have talked..

4 months of recuperation and he could be ready... but again, it depends on what exactly the surgery was for..

Really? I don't. I don't discredit him for it exactly, but the fight isn't inspiring to me in the least.

Berto (and I say this relatively) is SHIT.

The thing with Margarito is... Margarito - Pac is actually interesting, while I don't think he deserves the fight, if he will in fact get the fight.. that fight could turn into something. I am at the very least somewhat interested in actually watching it.

          Floyd - Khan?

What's Khan going to do? Outbox Floyd?

Would Top Rank really make a Mayweather-Cotto fight? Even at this point?

At the very least I couldn't see Arum being so complying and not making loads of antagonising media statements already.

If Cotto really wanted the fight.. and Cotto told Arum, I will concede to whatever Floyd wants... Testing and money split, just make the fight happen... I think Arum would make the fight happen.

The biggest problem with Floyd - Pac... is Floyd and Pac themselves not agreeing with each others concessions, but with Cotto... he would not carry the same ego as Pacquiao, and he does not sit as high as Pacquiao.

I can't see Marg Pac as legitimate because I can't see Bob risking Manny losing with so much money still on the table. I'm not interested in any marg fight.

Same thing goes for floyd if he fights a GBP fighter like kahn. I'm sure Cotto would try and beat floyd so maybe floyd cotto is not gonna happen.

At 147 Berto would be the best possible opponent, although i wouldn't mind seeing a Bradley match for either for Pac or May @ 147. I wouldn't mind a fight at 154, it would make things a bit more interesting if he had a title at 154 as well as lineal champ at 147.
