Toney has a chance. MMA is fighting at the end of the day. Toney is the best striker (with his hands) that UFC has ever had, that alone gives him a chance to win.

Why do you guys keep talking about Coture fighting Tony in a boxing ring? It's not the same thing! MMA is a combat sport where "all" forms of attack are legal outside of biting, eye gouging, pulling hair, and groing strikes.

Boxing limits your method of attack since you can only throw punches and nothing else. Nobody is limiting Tony in his MMA debut. Tony to is free to kick, throw elbows, shoot for a take down, etc, etc. But in a boxing match Coture would be completely limited to just punching.

So no it's not the same thing guys so seriously grow the *** up.

I'm 1000% certain toney could outlast you in any endurance or strength activity.

Why do idiots like you assume a guys physique says everything about his conditioning.

I do know as a fan of James from his prime days I wont be watching the video of whatever happens to him. The first time Randy takes him down the fight is over. Im still so pissed this is even happening in the first place. Now if Randy were to take up the offer of Boxing James at a later date, then I would be ok with it. Then I would know James would get to toy with Randy the same way Randy is about to toy with him.
All fights start standing, homie. And it's MMA 101 to set your shots up now a days..

Randy will have to stand and box/kickbox for a bit to set up a shot or greco clinch.

These things aren't as linear as you guys make them up to be.. a lot of MMA fighters struggle with pure strikers/boxers in the cage because they often times can't set up their shots etc.

I didnt' see him training for wrestleling and HE should count with being hugged as soon as the bell sounds. There will not be much boxing if Couture gets his way.

Wrong Wrestlers have always dictated where the fight happens. Tony can't dictate anything in this fight so yeah he's done and quick like.
