No relevant fighters in 168 are available for the next six months or so, so why doesn't he move up and fight Pascal ina fight the fans want to see. Why isn't this fight being made, and even if Bute moves up and loses he will still hold his spot in the 168 division anyways.

Ummmmm, by all accounts it's Bute and his team that don't want the fight.
Remember, Bute has a fight in October against Brinkley and by then 2 fighters will get eliminated from the Super 6. He can fight whoever gets elimiated (except Green) and they would probably get accepted by HBO.
Even if they don't he still draws 18K per fight not counting on however many PPVs he sells in Canada.Comment

i'm sure they're going to get it on, just not now, i think that their promoters are going to try and milk them for what they can since they have a good following in canada.
i think also, that even if they suffer losses they'll still be able to market a fight between them, unless one gets their jaw completely shattered to where they couldn't take a shot anymore.
they're going to build until they can't anymore, then you'll see both guys fight who ever, when ever.Comment
