The four best single PUNCHES ever?

Okay, it's trivial, but I indulged myself in one of those "lad's mags" with a bit of celebrity T & A. Yet this edition of Zoo (April 2005) also had the top twenty best punches of all time. I'm clearing out my magazine rack, so before I throw it away, see what you think.

Most of them weren't related to boxing... for instance, there was the one of UK politician John Prescott whacking a protestor who'd pelted him with an egg and Pele losing it in Milan, 1963. Also included were fictional boxing matches such as Apollo Creed vs. Ivan Drago, Brad Pitt in Snatch and De Niro's recreation of La Motta in Raging Bull.

But for the purist boxing contingent, here's what made it:

    4. Dominic Guinn vs. Michael Grant. The face-distorting KO from Guinn.

    3. Frank Bruno vs. Mike Tyson. Bruno was never figured to have a chance, but he did succeed in hurting Tyson during their first bout...

    2. Lennox Lewis vs. Hasim Rahman. Lewis's thundering KO of Rahman in the rematch.

    1. Henry Cooper vs. Muhammad Ali. One of the most famous punches of all time as 'Enry's 'Ammer connects with then-Clay, sending him dazed to the canvas.

Infact, all of Eubank's KO's were AWESOME! He had an awesome KO punch but hesitated using it Post-Watson (he disabled Watson), the Jarvis one is probably my favourite.. Eubank looked awesome that night.

Juy - It certainly is and was, especially since he was virtually beaten.

The jarvis one was a highlight

The punch that made Tyson the youngest ever champ, he floored Berbick three times with one punch! That was a peach!

I think the Bob Foster punch on Quarry was the best punch I ever seen. If not, the left hook that Frazier hit Ali with. Both of those punches were things of beauty.
