I think he can win using movement & speed but if Bhop is able to grapple him & wear him down with low blows then we know how that will turn out.

If the fight happens in Montreal, you can bet a house that Hopkins will not get away with many of the things he normally does.

Hopkins didn't look good against Roy, maybe it was partially because having envyed and feared Roy's ability for years the situation was mentally demanding for Hopkins even though he knew Roy had lost almost all his athleticism and ability at the time.

Fighting some other fighter that ain't Roy maybe Hopkins will look more like the Hopkins that fought Pavlik. If the Hopkins that fought Roy shows up the audience will be in for a boring night and Hopkins will lose on points. Maybe Hopkins finally has gotten old.

I have my doubts the fight will even get made. Hopkins will want a big payday, more than this fight can generate.

Yeah that is kind of what i think too. I mean he always seemed bitter Roy beat him the first time and was the bigger star in their primes. Also i think he might have been a bit nervous that in the rematch he was in a lose-lose situation. Even if he won he did look bad against a version of Roy that was just coming of a first round defeat to some Australian nobody.

As far as B-Hop it is a bad fight he has nothing to gain but everything to lose an he will lose, i'm not goin against B-hop cause he continues to prove ppl wrong, B-hop will out point Pascal, Im taken ring experiance over youth if this fight happens
Personally I think Pascal is a better fighter than when he last fought Froch and would be smart enough to beat him.

The fight would not be at 168 so I guess that is a slight advantage for Pascal.

I think he meant Pascal would be 'ruined' is he loses, and Hopkins would just be too old if Pascal wins. That's why he said it's a no win situation.

Thats a really good point. Wonder if Hopkins would be willing to go to Canada though as the bigger name.
