Why do people keep bringing up the Jermain Taylor fights? That was in 2005...this is 2010.

Pascal beats the 2010 version of Bernard Hopkins rather easily. Hopkins is just too slow and old at this point.

I don't expect Hopkins to dominate Pascal but Hopkins even at his age can still beat Pascal.

Pascal winning isn't completely out of the equation though, Hopkins hasn't looked good in his last 2 fights.

Dawson could handle it, he would just back away and make Pascal waste more energy running forward, instead of trying to counter punch.

This will be a close fight and I'm leaning towards Hopkins, but I can see a fight where Pascal makes it so close he gets the nod from the Canadian judges.

There were 3 reasons why Hopkins looked like he did against RJ: Jones' posturing, fast hands, and quick counterpunching.

The old man tries everything in his power not to get hit, so he'll feint... feint... reset and feint again to try to get in. He respects fast hands and counterpunching, Pascal has the fast hands, but lacks the counterpunching. I can see Hopkins stifling a lot of Pascal's rushes too. I got the old man until further notice.
