Hopefully its a legit opponent, if hes fighting this year though then he really had no reason but to accept the Pacquiao fight or at least get involved in negotiations (I mean to be fair its all a mess anyway so we don't know whats gone off).

You took the words right out of my mouth! I guess Baldomir, Gatti, Zab Judah, et al are all top-rated first rate hall of famers then too.

But, if this is true, then I think Floyd Jr. should fight P-Will at 147. P-Will is a good fight (no one will claim Floyd Jr. is picking as easy opponent) and Floyd should be able to counter punch him all night. However, if Floyd doesn't fight him or Sergio Martinez, then there will be no salvaging him from the massive criticism he got for not 'responding' to Pacquiao's/Arum's contract!

The only way Floyd fights Pac this year is if he really thinks Margarito will win. I personally think he will fight someone like Cotto @154, I would love to see Floyd vs SMart @160 but that wont happen unless Sergio took a 90-10 deal. The only reason Dubai is in play is to start a bidding war for the May vs Pac fight. The only problem is a fight starting @ Midnight in Dubai is 4 pm EST, dont think that would do as many PPV buys.
