Rigondeaux scouting report, based on his recent fight with Jose Angel Beranza.
Strengths, he is a very poised fighter who seems very adept at controlling space and distance from long range, throws a variety of nice counter punches, he likes to throw quick lead right uppercuts, he also likes to counter with the uppercut with the other(the left) hand to, he also favours the the right uppercut followed by a straight left combo, he has a nice counter uppercut to the belly with the left hand, he likes making you fall short and dropping the straight left on you, infact overall he seems like he might be a terrific counter puncher, oh, he is good at slipping punches to.
Weaknesses, drops his hands when he thinks he is out of range, crosses his feet when he pivots, which is a strange technical flaw for someone with so many amateur fights under their belt.
