Honestly this is a ****** statement on Calderon's part because Capetillo has been Segura's trainer for a while. They knew before the fight was signed or even discussed.....so why are they making this an issue now?

I say just shut up and fight because it's not like Segura and Capetillo just hooked up after the fight was signed.

Where do all these guys come out with Trinidad got caught with illegal hand wraps... Trinidad never got caught with anything illegal in his wraps, if he would have been caught he would of been punished and banned just like Margarito, Hopkins corner was just trying to get into his head and they wanted him to re wrap... the only thing they ever said about Trinidad was that his hand wraps had a few extra pieces of tape and extra gauze than whats allowed anyone that has had there hands wrapped knows that tape or extra gauze dont make you hit harder even during that fight George Foreman said that fighter only do this to protect there knuckles and it should benefit the other fighter

no one he ever fought ever complained about his hand wraps nor was there any time an opponent said they had there gloves wrapped up before we walked in like in the case of Margarito, he argues he had no clue but as a fighter why wasnt it strange for him to get his hands wrapped quick before someone from the other team came and inspected it total BS

It's already been cleared that Capetillo could work with his fighter(Segura) in the GYM while he's in Puerto Rico but come fightnight Capetillo CAN'T be nowhere near the dressing room(where they are getting their hands wrapped)& CAN'T be nowhere near the corner during the fight.. Ask WJoppy if those wraps were legit .It dont take a genious to figure out those hand wraps were illegal just by looking at them .Im surprised he got away with this crap for many years till Nassem made them fix that and look what happened got toyed with for 12 rounds by Bhop
