In their primes Floyd is a stylistic nightmare for Oscar, just like Whittaker was. I know their fight at 154 was close and Oscar was past it, but Floyd was a completely different story at 130 and 135. I think he'd outbox him.
As for who will be higher, probably Floyd. Oscar has fought everyone and their mom, but he's lost pretty much every huge opportunity he's gotten (sure he was robbed in a few, but that's besides the point). Yes the names on his resume s**ts on Floyds, but so does Juan LaPorte's and I doubt anyone would put him ahead of Floyd unless you're talking about ATG chins.
However I wouldn't be surprised if DLH was higher. I mean he was the face of boxing before Floyd was, and he didn't have a Pacquiao to share that with.
Say what you want about floyd, but vs. dlh, he always ranks higher and better than him. as far as ATG status goes, floyd ranks higher without a doubt. dlh lost all of his big fights except for vargas. as far as prime vs. prime, floyd takes it, although it would have been interesting at 154.
Not at any point in his life would ODH beat floyd. Floyd will rank higher not just because he won their fight, but because ODH can NEVER outlive the loss to Tito. He gave away an easy win because he ran.
1. Oscar's resume is ridiculous. It makes Floyd's look like an amateur career (watch the Floyd fans flock and riot). Ok...well not exactly but it's there. Fought a crapload of future HoF fighters.
2. Oscar @ 147...from 1997-2000 is tough for ANY Welterweight. And yes, he beats Floyd. Old, part-time Oscar stole 4 or 5 rounds from prime Floyd...young, hungry DLH takes a SD or UD from Floyd.
